Why so many families trust their children’s education to Louisville High School
All-Girls advantage
Louisville High School is the only all-girls school in the San Fernando Valley. Louisville is a place where girls take center stage. In fact, every aspect of Louisville, from our classrooms to our athletic fields to our social events, is designed for girls.
Prepared for life
We offer a unique “Focus Program” that centers around job shadowing and professional readiness. Our graduates attend some of the top universities and colleges in the United States. Louisville grads are doctors, lawyers, educators, business professionals, lay and religious. They are wives, mothers, grandmothers, daughters, sisters, and friends.
innovation
Our Innovation Lab allows girls to explore the curriculum in various ways by bringing projects to life with equipment such as 3-D printers, laser cutters, and large-scale plotters.
Possibilities with compassion
In today’s fast-paced world with its conflicting values, Louisville provides an environment of learning and growing that teaches possibilities with compassion – preparing its students for life’s opportunities and challenges.
What the Students are Saying About 8th Grade Visit Day
I specifically remember being in 8th Grade, and shadowing Louisville during the Louisville Life Visit Days. I was intimidated and scared but the staff were completely engaging and made me feel super comfortable. They had taken care of me and made sure that I was receiving the best experience that day. Overall, Louisville High School is an amazing community to be a part of! The sisterhood and bond that a Louisville girl receives from being at Louisville is one that can never be replaced, and will be one that they will cherish for the rest of their lives.
I remember listening to a Louisville Ambassador speak to the parents about Dance Concert. My eyes lit up from excitement as she was explaining the agenda for the class. She spoke with so much sophistication and confidence. From that moment, I desired nothing more than to speak with so much conviction. I’ve been a competitive dancer since I was 4 years old; listening to the girl who spoke that day really inspired me to feel comfortable to pursue my passion here on campus. After accomplishing my goal to be an Ambassador for Louisville, I can confidently say that I have learned to speak with conviction and sophistication.
As an 8th grader coming into Open House or Visit Day, I felt so welcomed as if I was already a part of the Louisville sisterhood. This was a feeling that was different from any other feeling I had had at previous schools’ open houses. This feeling was what made me want to come to Louisville. Louisville is a such a beautiful community that has become my second family.
